Today ask yourself this one question. Are you making excuses in your life? It’s usually the mistakes that continue to repeat themselves that demonstrate we’re missing a lesson we should have learned. If the same situations keep happening to you or you continuously get treated the same way – stop making excuses. Stop blaming others for these things. Look at yourself and your actions. There’s something you’ve been missing and God is trying to teach it to you.

Do you keep getting stuck in the same types of relationships? Do your friendships seem to fail because you can’t make them work? Are you always unhappy no matter what is going on in your life? Look at yourself and examine your thoughts, actions and words. Repeated occurrences are like failed tests that you need to keep retaking. If you aren’t paying attention or studying the material to master it, you’re going to fail. That’s when you start to feel like your life is going nowhere. That’s when you start to feel almost like a failure because you can’t seem to understand why there’s no progress being made.

This progress only happens if you release your stubbornness and have a willingness to accept that there are always going to be things you need to learn and grow from. There are always going to be lessons there for us. You should always be looking to improve who you are and what you bring to this world and the relationships you have with the people around you. Be willing to grow. Be ready to accept change in your life. Be patient in your progress. We are taught the lessons we need at exactly the right time we need them. So ask yourself this today and accept that we’re not always going to be right or have everything figured out – but you can always have a willingness to become a better you.
