Try to find time everyday to meditate. If you don’t “meditate” – the way I coach my clients if they’re not into that is to just sit and be still in silence. Listen to your thoughts. I say “your thoughts” so they can better understand what is happening, but in reality it’s your intuition and speaking spiritually, it’s God or your Angels speaking with you.

You see prayer is talking to God but meditation is allowing God to speak to you, guide you, provide you insight and wisdom into situations in your life. I get so much guidance when I meditate that to this day it still amazes me how much I’m told simply by meditating. I was quite busy this week and I kept telling myself I needed to meditate – “Amy, if you have time to breathe, you have time to meditate.” But I just didn’t fit it in for about 3 days and finally, yesterday I made a conscious effort to block out 30 minutes to do it. I was not only given insight into my own situations and life, I was provided wisdom into many other people’s – family, friends and even clients. I didn’t ask – I didn’t pray for it, I was just told.

That is what takes place when you allow time for God everyday. That feeling of being lost or confused totally vanishes because he tells you what to do. He tells you how to handle it – whatever ‘it’ may be. So even if you’re not “into” any of this crazy “new age” stuff as I hear some people say (even though it’s not new age at all and has been around for centuries but society finally seems to be ‘catching on’ or taking to it). Even if you have absolutely no idea how to begin meditating or “talking” to God. Find 30 minutes today and over the weekend to sit alone, be quite, be still and listen. I promise you’ll get the answers you’re looking for. Today’s Daily Affirmation:

I receive my guidance when I’m still and I listen.
