What do you do when you are thinking about stuff you don’t like or that you don’t want in your life? You focus more on it, don’t you. You talk about it and try to understand and figure it out. You vent to a friend or sit and dwell as it cycles over and over in your mind. But what if I told you that even when something you don’t like is unfolding you still hold the power to shift it towards what you do want to happen – what if?
Well you can. All you need to do is reach for thoughts that feel good. I know that sounds really easy and way too good to be true, but that’s just your ego talking. Life isn’t hard, we just MAKE it hard. It’s fun and exciting and carefree. When you feel yourself tense up because something isn’t going the way you want it to go – you are only creating more resistance. Control is only had through your vibration. Control cannot be obtained through physical action.
So it’s pretty cut and dry – something happens that you don’t like, don’t dwell – reach for feel-good thoughts. If it’s difficult to find the good feeling thoughts specifically around whatever is unfolding then you need to generalize it. Seek out the general feel-good thoughts. The more general you get, the easier the shift is to make. You need to slow down a speeding train before changing tracks – you can’t just switch at 100 mph. It’s the same with our energy. You can’t shift from low-vibe, negative thoughts right over to a positive experience in your reality. You need to slow them down because you need to switch the momentum and move in the direction of that which you desire. Then as you reach for the good feeling thoughts, you create a momentum in the desired direction and before you know it you gain enough momentum that you see your creation of that which you desire right in physical form – in front of your face, in YOUR reality!
