You know what you need to do. You know what’s best for you. But…do you know what is clouding you from that truth? Your fears. You know why your fears are still lingering? Because you won’t let them go. They’re just old sh*t that hasn’t left your subconscious. The old sh*t wants to get out…and you have to let it. It’s trying to leave you so it won’t have power over you anymore…but you need to stop resisting it.

By resisting I mean you panic,  freak out and question the fears when they pop up…sometimes even engaging in them and believing them. By doing this you cling. You create resistance when you cling….so the fears stick around…get heavier, harder, more complicated and exhausting. They drive you nuts and send you into a tailspin before you finally break down hard enough and say, “I can’t do this anymore!”

And we all eventually reach that place of, “I can’t do this anymore,” however…engaging in those fears and even entertaining them to be true is never fun. So what I want to leave you with today is this bit of wisdom: They only feel BAD because you’re resisting them. You’re judging them and getting upset by them. Why not sit as a third party observer and let them come up and out. They will just leave you if you don’t hold onto them. They will go if you don’t judge, label and cling. So the next fear that pops up (and there will be one!) remind yourself that it’s making you feel bad because you’ve labeled it as bad. It’s feeling bad because you’re judging it and wondering why it’s there (aka resisting it). Let it be. Let it arrive. Let it show’s there to be released but it can’t go unless you step back and let it flow right on out of you for good. Today’s Daily Affirmation is:
