One of the most commonly forgotten tips I teach is that everything we experience in life is a mirror reflection of our internal feelings. If your energy is low and you are not giving yourself the time, love, care and attention you deserve – you in turn are going to project that inner feeling onto those around you – be it a friendship, relationship, family member, so on. So if you’re feeling out of balance in any area of your life, the trick (though it’s not a trick at all!) is to turn your attention inward. Then ask yourself, Have I been neglecting myself? Am I being good to me? Or whatever it is that’s going on in your life – present that question to yourself and keep it real when you answer. Because I’ll tell you what, every single time the answers will reveal that it has to do with how you are treating yourself, talking to yourself, feeling towards yourself or perceiving yourself. Once you work to gently and lovingly heal that inward condition – you will find that any actions needed outside of that are unnecessary. Your entire external world will shift along with the internal.
