Our first instinct as humans when we aren’t receiving something we want is that we’re going to go get it. We push to make it happen. We manipulate and try to control an outcome that we desire. It’s not always our natural instinct to just step back and trust. To chill out and know that what we asked for will be ours, all we have to do is listen to divine guidance and then take the steps that we’re directed to take. 

But that truly is what you need to do. When you force something, you block it. You are exerting an energy that is not going to magnetize it. The energy that’s going to bring to you what you have requested is a calming surrender. Be calm and surrender it over to the Universe. It knows what’s up. It knows what you want and it’s got a freakn’ army of angels working up there to make it happen just for you. Why? Because you asked for it! The ‘how’ and the ‘when’ lay in the Universe’s hands, but the what that you requested…that’s yours dolls. So sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. Today’s Daily Affirmation is:
