Why do we lack such trust in ourselves? Why do we hand our personal power over to others like it’s unimportant? This has been coming up a lot lately with some of my clients and truthfully I’ve been there so I understand. Weighing your happiness on your external circumstances. Trusting everything outside of yourself rather than everything within you.

We don’t realize that we are throwing away our power like yesterday’s trash when we do this. The self-doubt, the fear, the lack mentality and the anxiety we literally give ourselves because we forget that we have complete control over our own happiness. If we keep leaving it up to the world and any external situation, that’s quite a roller coaster ride you’re going to be on the rest of your life. 

I love a good roller coaster but not when my inner peace is involved. Not when my smile is determined by how high the next hill is or how low the next drop goes. If I can leave you with anything today it is this – you are in the driver’s seat of your own amusement ride. Your feet are on the pedals and your hands on the wheel. You have control over that route you take and when you go high and when you go low. YOU DO! It’s all in your hands. Even better (and totally comforting I might add) is that this gigantic force of energy we refer to as the Universe – it’s supporting you no matter what. So if you choose a route or a hill or a valley and would like to choose again, you can. So please know that all that you want, desire and dream of is completely up to you and no one else. Your peace, happiness and love resides only in your hands and no one elses. Today’s Daily Affirmation is:
