Often we feel as if until our circumstances are different, we can’t be happy. We feel as if there’s no reason to smile when we’re not where we want to be in life yet. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Joy is a gift to us. We can access it any time we want. Unfortunately a lot of us believe we can’t until situations change. Don’t allow this false-thinking to steal your joy. You can have $1 to your name and still be happy because you know the Universe will provide all of your needs. You can be working a 9-5 job you aren’t very proud of and still be joyous because you know doors will be opened for you in due time. If we sit around waiting on circumstances to influence our mood, we’ll always be unhappy. No one every promised an easy life. No one ever said there wouldn’t be hard times or sad times. But amidst it all you can access your God-given joy. DESPITE your circumstances you can be happy. Don’t feel guilty, don’t doubt yourself for one second – you’re happy because you know what’s coming in your life. If it’s in your heart, it’s yours – you just might not be ready for it quite yet.
