When we hold things against others, we hold them against ourselves. So essentially the way we feel towards others is a reflection of how we feel about ourselves. I know for sure you’ve encountered the type of person at some point in your life who has nothing nice to say about anyone else. There’s always something wrong with the way someone is doing something. This only reflects this person’s personal feelings towards him or herself. This doesn’t make them a “bad” person because as I’ve stated in previous posts, we are not meant to judge anyone or anything as “good” or “bad”. This just means that this person is lacking love for themselves, therefore creating a gap resulting in a separation that makes them either feel as if they are better than or worse than another human being.

Then you have individuals you encounter who are always cheering on others and lifting them up. That doesn’t mean they don’t have the occasional “complaint” or “frustration” that just means that the way they see others is a complete reflection of their love for themselves. This is the type of love we’re meant to have and demonstrate. We build ourselves up so much that it shines onto others. We know our own worth and understand that comparing is unnecessary because we are all unique and individual and special in our own right. We each have our own gifts to offer this world and though some are often ‘similar’, no two are alike ever. Praise yourself today. Lift yourself up and celebrate you and all you have to offer this world. You are divinely perfect and it’s time you start recognizing that! Today’s Daily Affirmation:

I am worthy of love because I am love.
