Be so focused on improving yourself that you don’t have time to glance to the side at what others are working towards. Comparing ourselves is a bad habit a lot of us get caught up in. We think we need what they have or we wonder why we’re not good enough to have it. What we need to remember is that we all advance along our own paths at our own speeds. My personal growth isn’t going to match yours. It doesn’t matter your age or experience – there are things that are uniquely special about you that no one else in this world has to offer. Remember this quote I posted to our Instagram this morning the next time you start comparing yourself to someone else: “A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms.” Be your own flower, grow at your own speed and you will blossom when it’s your right time to shine! No one can steal your beauty, as each flower is imperfectly perfect in their own way! Today’s Daily Affirmation:
