Your worth doesn’t change because others can’t get in agreeance with it. Your value doesn’t sway because someone might disagree. The only thing that matters is what YOU think about YOU. That’s it. Nothing else matters. Nothing changes. The only one who decides if something changes is YOU.
My Pastor spoke on this in church today but it went a little something like this (and I’m paraphrasing here): God doesn’t care what you think about him. Do you really think he cares whether you agree he’s powerful or not. He doesn’t. His power and glory don’t change because you can’t recognize it or because you disagree with it. So what makes you think who you are should be determined by what others think of you?
Look just because someone is looking through some foggy goggles at you and can’t determine your full worth…doesn’t mean you are worth less. Just because someone is scared or has insecurities and attacks and brings you down rather than builds you up…doesn’t mean what they’re saying is true. YOU DECIDE. You decide who you are and what your worth. Just as God’s power and presence doesn’t change because some people don’t believe in him…yours doesn’t either. Recognize who you are and know that it only matters how you feel about you. Never allow outside circumstances determine who you are and what you’re capable of. You get the final decision. You get the last say. So who are you? Own it. Be it. Embrace it. Don’t change it because someone can’t see it. Shine your light and if it’s too bright for some…let them put sunglasses on, but never dim it…ever! Today’s Daily Affirmation is:
